Northern Food Fest & Carnival: A Night to Remember at The Stallionz Ipoh
17 August 2026 · Mana Mana Team
From empty tents and bare scaffolding to a glowing horse-head sign, a DJ set, a biker crowd and a carnival in full swing — inside the setup and payoff of Northern Food Fest & Carnival at The Stallionz Ipoh White Times Square.
The Process
Before the lights and the crowd, there is scaffolding, cabling and a lot of standing on ladders. The reel opens on an empty stretch of White Times Square: white canopy tents going up in a row, tablecloths being dressed, a crew member in a hi-vis 'Venus Excellent' shirt threading cable overhead while another balances on a ladder rigging the canopy wiring. It is the unglamorous half of every event — the half guests never see, and the half that decides whether the glamorous half works.
The Result
Cut to after dark, and the same space is unrecognisable. The Stallionz' white geometric horse-head sculpture glows under purple and blue wash lighting against its perforated feature wall, the venue's signature backdrop. A DJ in a leopard-print fit works a laptop and Pioneer deck under the draped tenting. A line of Harley-Davidsons pulls in, riders idling past the venue as part of the night's crowd. Further down, an LED-lit walkway funnels a full house of families and friends past food stalls and balloon displays — Northern Food Fest & Carnival, fully alive.
Good Food, Good Vibes, Good Times
That is the event's own tagline, and the reel backs it up without needing to say much else. A Mana Mana team member works the crowd in full costume — grey wig, moustache, blazer — waving 'Northern Food Fest & Carnival' signage in front of the branded step-and-repeat, the kind of unscripted moment that tells you the team was having as much fun as the guests.
See It for Yourself
Northern Food Fest & Carnival ran at The Stallionz Ipoh White Times Square — the same rooftop-pool property that anchors Mana Mana's Ipoh portfolio. Watch the full transformation above, then check upcoming events at The Stallionz if you want to catch the next one in person.
