Ask a Malaysian where they want to eat and you'll often hear a cheerful shrug: 'mana-mana lah' — anywhere works. It's one of those phrases that carries a whole attitude: easy-going, open to adventure, happiest in good company.

When we chose it as our name, we were making a promise. Wherever you go — a weekend in KL, a heritage escape in Penang, a food pilgrimage to Ipoh — there should be a stay that feels effortless, looks beautiful, and leaves you with a story. That's the job. Everything else is detail.

Mana Mana started in 2017 with a few short-term rental suites in Kuala Lumpur and a conviction that serviced apartments didn't have to feel like compromises. Travellers wanted the space and kitchens of an apartment with the polish and reliability of a hotel — so we built exactly that, one suite at a time. By 2022 we were managing around a thousand units across the Klang Valley.

In 2024 came the SME100 Award, and something bigger: the EXSIM Group's founders took a Bursa Malaysia-listed vehicle and renamed it EXSIM Hospitality Berhad — with Mana Mana as its hospitality-operator arm. Suddenly the friendly staycation brand had public-company standards, audited accountability, and a pipeline of thousands of new keys behind it.

In 2025, the MyKey Global team — a decade-strong operator whose portfolio ran through many of the same towers — merged into Mana Mana Hospitality. Two of the Klang Valley's most experienced teams became one, led by Managing Director Debbie Leow. Today we look after more than 2,000 keys across Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Penang and Ipoh.

Brand promises are cheap; sky pools are not. What 'Your Fun Starts Here' means in practice is a rooftop infinity pool facing the Twin Towers at Ceylonz and Expressionz. It's Scarletz glowing over KLCC, Millerz Square putting a livelier urban lifestyle above Old Klang Road, and Mossaz and Paxtonz beside Empire City's 1.7 million square feet of retail.

It's The Stallionz bringing a bold rooftop pool to Ipoh's food capital, and 22 Macalisterz tucking modern elegance into a UNESCO-listed George Town street. Every property answers the same question differently: what would make this stay one you'd tell your friends about?

There's a second Malay word at the heart of the brand: kaki — your buddy, your regular, the friend who's always in for the plan. Mana Mana Kaki is our membership programme, and it works the way friendship does: no tiers, no points mathematics, no annual fee.
